With an almost two year old in the house, I can safely say we have tried lots of diaper brands. Some were great. Others leaked. Still others tore at the tabs when trying to secure them on the kiddo.
Through our experiences, I can say that Huggies has been one of the (if not, THE) best diaper brands we have used. We like Huggies wipes as well, and, minus one package of store brand wipes we received at my baby shower, we have always stuck with Huggies when it comes to wipes.
Huggies has recently improved on their Snug & Dry diaper line, and we are enjoyed the benefits of using this diaper. It’s hard to find a diaper that will last through the night with a 19 month old. With one package of Snug & Dry diapers, however, he only leaked through one night. That’s great compared to the three to four nights – per week – of leaking that we experience with other brands. Their improved Leak Lock technology is truly amazing.
Plus, Huggies are great for road trips. We will sometimes take the kiddo to shows and whatnot in Atlanta, which is a little over an hour from here. Sometimes, we don’t stop and change him as soon as we arrive. Still, we have had no problems with him leaking through while being in his car seat.
Oh, and I must add – we love the cute little Mickey Mouse print on Huggies Snug & Dry diapers! My son is a HUGE fan of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and will point and say “Mickey!” every time he sees his diaper.
Huggies Wipes have also seen some improvements. The textures they incorporate in their wipes allow us to use fewer wipes, meaning we save money and get the job done faster. We really put these wipes to the test when Sawyer has spaghetti! He thinks it’s much more efficient to use his fingers than the fork and manages to get it all over his face during the process. So, he always requires a wipe down with Huggies before he gets up from the table.
Dirty diaper changes are another thing that is easy to handle with Huggies Wipes. In most cases, I only need to use two to get the job done…which makes my life easier. With a squirming toddler on a changing table, you want to use as few wipes as you can to get his tushie clean and freshly diapered! 🙂
We typically use the Huggies Little Movers diaper line, but after being so happy trying the Snug & Dry variety, we will be making the switch! I hope you will try them out as well!!
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central for Huggies. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
