This post is part of a new series I am doing this month called New Baby Must Haves. In this series, you will find reviews for products that I feel you really need if you have a new little one on the way!
Right now, my sweet baby is only 5 weeks old — but before long, we will be experiencing the “joys” of teething — and all the drooling, gnawing, and fussiness that comes along with it. The bad thing is, babies usually cannot discern what’s okay to chew on versus what is not. Because of this, I was happy to review Smart Mom Jewelry and include it as a “New Baby Must Have”!
Smart Mom Jewelry features a variety of pendants that are safe for your teething baby to chew on. They are made from silicone and do not contain phthlates, PCV, or BPA. In fact, they are made from the same material that most teething toys are made of, so you know it’s okay for babies to sink their sore gums into the pendants.
The Teething Bling come in a variety of colors and styles, so every mom can wear one that suits their fashion sense! The company was started by a mom, and only employs moms that work around their family’s schedule to keep the business going. I like to support mom businesses when possible, as I know they take great care to create a product that is safe, convenient, and made with my little one in mind.
For my review, I received the Jade Donut Shaped Pendant. It 2×2 donut that hangs on a black cord.
The necklace features a breakaway clasp. It it an appropriate length for my baby to grab and chew on it without it pulling at my neck. The pendant is large enough to capture a baby’s interest while proving them with a soothing “toy” during the painful teething time.
With so many other colors and styles of teething bling offered by Smart Mom, I wouldn’t mind adding a few more to my jewelry box. Once Dawson begins teething, we won’t have to worry about carrying teething toys that could be dropped and need to be sanitized. With my bling, he can have something to chew on any time. During that time, I will be opting for this piece from Smart Mom Jewelry rather than my usual jewelry.
How did you get through the days of teething?
