My husband LOVES peanut butter. I’m talking an “eating it every day with food or straight from the jar” kind of love. Most of his birthday/just because desserts feature peanut butter recipes.
The first year we were together, I made him a peanut butter cake just like his mom used to make for his birthday. It wasn’t perfect but he loved it anyway! I’ve also made a few peanut butter pies since we’ve been together.
This is a new take on a peanut butter dessert recipe that I’m sure he will like: No-Bake Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie. This one involves Reese’s Pieces and a Nutter Butter crust – two of his favorite snacks!
No-Bake Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie
- 1 Quart Peanut Butter Flavored Ice Cream
- 5 tablespoons Melted butter
- Nutter Butter Cookies
- Reese’s Pieces
- Whipped Cream
1. Remove ice cream from freezer and allow to thaw until it’s cream and can be stirred.
2. Stir 1/2 bag of Reese’s Pieces into the ice cream.
Note: Do not add the Reese’s Pieces to the top cake before you freeze it, otherwise the colors will bleed.
