With kids at home for the summer, it’s important to have lots of wholesome snack ideas. They will soon tire of fresh fruit, nuts and granola bars. Us moms have to mix it up!
One thing both of my boys love is yogurt. They eat a Gogurt® squeezable yogurt almost daily but I’ve been thinking of other ways I can mix up this snack to provide them with a ‘better for you’ option. Summer snacking is about to get much cooler at my house!
We choose Yoplait’s yogurt options — including Original, Light, and Greek, and Gogurt® — which are conveniently found at Walmart. Plus, they all come in easy to open containers that can be taken on the go.
The other day, my husband was sipping on a drink from a local restaurant, which gave me an terrific idea for a simple yet delicious yogurt pairing. It would be a more wholesome choice and fun for the kids to drink!
Cherry Limeade Drinkable Yogurt
This snack is super easy to make…it only involves two ingredients! My five year old was able to help me with his…which made it more fun for him to drink.
- 1 Cup Yoplait Light Very Cherry Yogurt
- 3 tablespoons limeade
To make your Cherry Limeade Drinkable Yogurt, first you need to scoop out a bite or two of your cherry yogurt. You need enough room to mix in the limeade.
Pour the three tablespoons of limeade into the yogurt cup, stirring well to combine the flavors.
That’s all there is too it! My husband and boys were the taste testers, and they all love it!
