A couple weeks ago, I shared with you some new Olay products that are now available for sale at Walmart. I was intrigued by the brand because I already do 90% of my shopping in the store – it’s nice to be able to pick up products for my skincare routine there too.
I was also sent the three products that make up the Olay Regenerist Luminous product line. As I’m about to hit the big 3-0, it’s time I begin focusing more on protecting my face rather than just cleaning it.

With the products I received, I have developed a new skincare routine for myself that involves three simple steps…
Step 1 – Cleanse with Olay Regenerist Luminous Brightening Cream Cleanser
Since I currently use a facial cleanser, it wasn’t hard to make the switch and remember to use the Luminous Brightening Cream Cleanser daily. It’s simple to use: lather on, rinse off. I like that the smell isn’t overbearing, in fact, you have to focus on smelling it to even capture the light scent with your nose.
After using this cleanser a few days, I have noticed my face feeling very clean, with no greasy feeling left behind (from dirt/oil or the product). The cream does have some super-tiny beads inside to help exfoliate the skin for a deeper clean. I don’t feel these and they aren’t harsh on my skin at all.
Step 2 – MOISTURIZE with Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream
This is the step that I am horrible about skipping. I just want to clean my face and be done. However, dryness can lead to wrinkles and a not-so-appealing appearance. It’s time to suck it up and moisturize my face!
The Tone Perfecting Cream made my feel and look a lot more hydrated after my couple uses. I am also noticing the redness that is usually covering my cheeks following a shower (and into the day) lightening up.
Step 3 – TREAT with Olay Regenerist Luminous Dark Circle Correcting Hydraswirl
The Hydraswirl may very well be my favorite product of the three. Since an infant lives here, you can guess about how well we sleep every night. Even now that he’s got his days and nights somewhat straightened out, I still am not getting the sleep I need – and with the lack of sleep comes nice bluish circles beneath my eyes!
I’ve noticed that these blemishes are lighter after using the product twice a day for a few days. Hopefully, I’m starting to look like a well-rested mom (do those two words even go together?). The Hydraswirl is also great at battling crow’s feet and other fine lines associated with the eyes.
I will definitely continue using this 3-step skincare routine to further my results. If you’d like to experience Olay Regenerist Luminous products on your own, head to your local Walmart. Be sure to follow Olay on Facebook and Twitter for the latest product news!
Have you tried the Olay Regenerist Luminous line yet? Which step would be your favorite?
